Developing unprecedented products that are possible precisely because we are a venture company.

We conduct product development in order to make new, unprecedented ideas a reality, and it is precisely because we are a venture company that we can do this, as it is not possible to surpass companies with large amounts of capital in a market with competitors. For example, when developing cosmetics, we would not create products similar to those of large cosmetic manufacturers. Instead, we would always aim to plan and develop products for which competing companies do not exist, such as developing products that large companies do not sell. As we are especially well aware of Chinese consumption trends, we take pride in our high level of product develop capacity in the inbound market.

With inbound-facing product development as our core axis, we make products that are in demand a reality.

Our product development activities are derived from our inbound business, which is our core business. The development of hit products for the inbound market has become our core axis, both for our company as well as in product development for other companies. We conduct planning and development on cosmetics and OEM for fishing goods, which are popular among the Chinese. When it comes to product development for other companies, we are able to meet various requests such as the development of a cosmetic line for a fashion brand or the desire for renewed development of existing products to target Chinese tourists. In addition, in response to product category requests from Laox and Don Quixote, distributors for our inbound business, we function as a liaison between companies and distribution channels, such as by developing new categories that make use of the resources possessed by local companies. Furthermore, we are constantly researching which items are in demand, such as by planning and developing products to sell through “junhashimoto” stores, our apparel brand, or through EC sites, and we turn these into valuable products.
